Volunteer Opportunities

Administrative Aide

Oregon Toxics Alliance is in need of a volunteer to assist in our busy downtown Eugene office. Duties would include working on various campaigns, answering phones, filing, and light office work. Communications and Networking

This person will be responsible for creating a network of organic farmers concerned about pesticides. Requires good communication and organization skills.

Event Planning Assistant

Oregon Toxics Alliance is looking for someone to help plan tabling events, fundraising events, and media events. The ideal candidate will possess good organization and communication skills. This is a great opportunity for somone wanting to gain knowledge and experience working with non-profits, the legislative system, and media.

Graphics Design

This person will help design logos, assist in web site development and the creation of flyers. A degree or formal background in graphics design aren't necessary, but good graphics design skills are a must.

Media Watchdog

Are you an avid reader of the Register Guard? The Oregonian? The NY Times? Oregon Toxics Alliance needs volunteers to monitor newspapers and websites for stories related to our work. If interested, call our office at (541) 465-8860, or email john@oregontoxics.org.

Research Assistant

OTA seeks a self-motivated individual to perform web based research on various chemicals and their impacts. The ability to work independently is a must.
