Dona Marie Hippert, J.D., President
Botanist/Ornamental Horticulturist. Graduated from Lewis and Clark Law School with an Environmental Law certificate, Oregon State Bar and ABA. Dona is currently a solo practice attorney with special interest in Air and Toxics issues. Board member with Northwest Environmental Defense Center. Secretary for Northwest Environmental Defense Center.

Michael Carrigan, Treasurer
Director of Oregon PeaceWorks and environmental activist for 20 years. He serves on the steering committee of Oregon Conservation Network and in that capacity worked to protect Eugene?s Toxics Right to Know law in two legislative sessions

Shawn Donnille, Vice-President and Co-Owner of Mountain Rose Herbs
Shawn is closely linked with the natural products industry in the state of Oregon through his company Mountain Rose Herbs, which is a processor and supplier of organic herbs, spices, teas and essential oils with both retail and bulk distribution divisions. His specialty is in riparian health and aquatic eco-systems and he assists the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife with their Salmon-Trout Enhancement Program and currently he oversees the Mountain Rose River Project which conducts water quality sampling, river monitoring, riparian restoration, and stream enhancement projects.

Johannes Epke
J.D. and Environmental Law Certificate candidate at Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, expected graduation May 2009. Has focused on air pollution and Clean Air Act issues, specifically with respect to industrial sources in Oregon in his capacity as the Air Project Coordinator at the Northwest Environmental Defense Center.

Linda Fuller, Ph.D.
Linda has worked with and had leadership roles in a number of social justice, international solidarity, and environmental organizations since the 1970s. These include the Guatemalan News and Information Bureau, CISCAP (Committee in Solidarity with the Central American People), and PCUN (Pineros y Campesinos Unidos del Noroeste). She is currently a Professor of Sociology and Director of the International Studies Program at the University of Oregon.

Carla Hervert, RN MS
Registered nurse and exercise physiologist. Currently working in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. Carla has worked in the health care field for over 25 years. Former secretary for Oregon Track Club Masters (OTCM).

Michelle Holman is the current Chairperson of the Lane County Educational Service District and longtime defender of strong educational programs and health protections for children.

Tom Kerns, PhD
Philosophy professor at Seattle Community College who teaches online courses, including Intro to Bioethics. Author of Environmentally Induced Illnesses: Ethics, Risk Assessment and Human Rights (McFarland, 2001). Served as commissioner on the New Zealand People’s Inquiry (2006). Board member of Concerned Citizens for Clean Air. Executive Director of Environment and Human Rights Advisory.

Ann B. Kneeland, J.D.
Ann is a solo practice attorney focusing on environmental, land use, and civil commitment law. She graduated from Georgetown University Law Center and is a member of Oregon and California (inactive) bars. She is a Eugene Planning Commissioner and a founding member of Seeking Out Democracy, a Junction City-based human dignity group. She is a strong advocate of equal access to justice.

JT Tarantino
The youngest board member of OTA, JT is an active member of the community with a passion for helping people and the environment. JT has a technical background in electrical engineering and has been also deemed ‘graphics specialist’ for OTA. JT has helped with the creation of the OTA blog and various other media.

John was hired in April 2009 as Communications Manager and Business Outreach Coordinator for OTA. He has an extensive background as web & graphics designer and video producer. He has also worked on numerous political campaigns, is a long-time citizen activist for the environment and was one of several co-founders of Oregon PeaceWorks in 1980.
