Our Work:

Gypsy Moth Spraying

Safe Public Places

You care about organics, so you work hard to keep pesticides away from Oregon families and their food.
But there’s still a problem.
A danger you can’t see…

Pesticides are routinely sprayed in the places you thought were safe...in public parks, in and around public buildings and on public roads. As a consequence, we are often exposed to poisons without even knowing it! To make things worse, pesticides drift away from the areas where they are applied. If you’re an organic farmer whose property is adjacent to public land, the integrity of your crops could be at stake.

Now there’s something we can do to protect farms and families!

Oregon Toxics Alliance is joining with organic farmers from all over the state to convince state agencies to reduce their use of pesticides. By working together, we can better protect the future of our organic farms, our children and our environment.

Help us nip pesticides in the bud!
